  • The ISO 45001 is the first international standard to define the minimum good practice requirements for ensuring the protection of workers around the world. This important Standard serves as a tool for protecting the health and safety of workers, a means to establish a fruitful and transparent relationship with trade unions and control bodies, but above all as tangible proof that organisations can and must do business in full respect of human and individual rights.

ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATIONS

Italcer adopts and maintains a systematic process of verification, measurement and monitoring of the performance of its environmental processes. This process ensures corporate compliance with mandatory requirements, enables the Company to have a continuous overview of its management practices, as well as allowing it to take the necessary and appropriate corrective and preventive actions to address any issues identified.

The adoption of a certified Environmental Management System compliant with the ISO 14001 Standard and the EMAS Regulation (EU Eco Management and Audit Scheme), of an Energy Management System and of other environmental standards represent key milestones along a corporate growth path through which we want to make our direct contribution to Sustainable Development and to a transparent and constructive dialogue with our stakeholders.

  • The Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a tool created by the European Community which companies can voluntarily adopt in order to help evaluate and improve their environmental performance, providing the public and other stakeholders with information on their environmental management practices. The primary aim of the EMAS is to contribute to the achievement of sustainable economic development, highlighting the key role and responsibilities of organisations in this process and promoting their continuous improvement.
The Environmental Management System required by the EMAS is based on the ISO 14001:2004 Standard, while the open dialogue with the public is pursued by requiring organisations to publish an Environmental Declaration containing information and key data concerning their environmental practices and impacts.

For Italcer, this consists in the natural extension of the scope of our corporate environmental management system, with important repercussions that also impact our economic efficiency.
